With the advancement of urbanization, China's rural labor force is decreasing, and the problem of "who will farm the land" is becoming increasingly prominent. Improving the level of agricultural mechanization will help alleviate the problem. In 2020, the comprehensive mechanization level of agricultural farming, planting and harvesting in China will exceed 70%, and the comprehensive mechanization rates of wheat, rice and corn will exceed 95%, 85% and 90% respectively, providing strong support for successive bumper harvests of grain. However, compared with imported agricultural machinery, the core technologies of large domestic agricultural machinery, especially the core technologies and key parts such as engine, gearbox, electro-hydraulic system, axle and cab, still rely on imports, and the reliability and applicability of machines and tools need to be further improved.
Product quality is the key to market competition. From the perspective of user experience, they pay more attention to the quality of agricultural machinery and the stable and unstable performance. However, some domestic agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises habitually use low-cost competition to seize the market and pay insufficient attention to product quality. After some new agricultural machinery products are put on the market, even if they win the market temporarily, if the quality is not qualified and the performance is unstable, they will eventually lose their reputation and lose the market. At present, what domestic agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises need to do is to do a good job in products, win the market with product quality, and let farmers buy and use at ease.
Improving the quality of agricultural machinery is not a day's work, nor can it be solved by shouting slogans. The state needs to maintain strategic concentration, do a good job in the planning of agricultural machinery industry, strengthen the R & D investment in large-scale agricultural machinery, and point out the direction for the development of agricultural machinery industry. Agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises and scientific research institutions should constantly improve the R & D level and manufacturing capacity of agricultural machinery, strive to fully master the reliability technology of core agricultural machinery devices such as engine and gearbox as soon as possible, improve the quality and performance stability of large agricultural machinery products, and use information and intelligent technology to improve the manufacturing level of agricultural machinery.
